👋 Hi there! I'm Luke Haas, the creator and sole developer behind RunJS. I built this tool to solve a problem I personally faced as a developer—wanting to quickly experiment with code without the hassle of setting up complex environments.

I started developing RunJS in 2019 as a passion project, initially built to solve a personal need. It quickly gained traction among developers who, like me, wanted a fast, no-setup coding environment. Over time, the reach of RunJS has broadened to include many different use cases, from teachers and students who find the simplicity and fast feedback loop make it ideal for learning and teaching programming to professionals who use it to quickly prototype ideas and experiment with code without the overhead of a full development setup.

RunJS is self-funded and independent; I don't have investors to answer to. This lets me focus entirely on building the best product possible for you.

As a solo developer, every feature request and support question goes directly to me. This means you always get help from someone who truly knows the product and cares about your experience.
