The best way to learn JavaScript is to experiment and see what happens. RunJS is a scratchpad where code runs as you type, so you see results the moment you write something, with no project setup and no build tools. That fast feedback loop is exactly what makes it work so well in classrooms, coding clubs and self-guided learning.
I've been a student too, which is why students and teachers get RunJS for free.
You can get a free RunJS license if you're:
An education license is a full RunJS license with one year of updates included. The app keeps working after that, and you can renew the updates for as long as you're still studying or teaching. It's intended for learning and teaching, not for commercial work.
Send an email to mail@runjs.app from your school or university email address and mention whether you're a student or a teacher. If your institution doesn't provide email addresses, include some other proof of enrolment or employment, such as a student card. As a solo developer I answer every email myself, and you'll usually hear back within a day or two.
