RunJS wouldn't exist without open source. It's built on Node.js, Electron and multiple community-maintained packages. Maintaining an open source project is often unpaid work that the whole ecosystem depends on, so this is my way of giving something back: core contributors to non-commercial open source projects get RunJS for free.
Free licenses are available to project leads and core contributors of projects that:
An open source license is a full RunJS license with one year of updates included. The app keeps working after that, and you can renew the updates for as long as the project still meets the requirements above. It's a personal license for your work on open source and can't be transferred or shared.
Send an email to mail@runjs.app with a link to the project, a short description of what it does, and your role in it. A link to your GitHub profile helps too. As a solo developer I answer every email myself, and you'll usually hear back within a day or two.
